금연캠페인 전략으로서 담배산업 비정상화전략의 적용가능성 탐색에 관한 연구 : 담배산업 비정상성 인식의 선행요인과 효과를 중심으로
본 연구에서는 국내 공중의 담배산업 비정상성에 대한 인식이 어떠한지, 담배산업의 비정상성 인식에 영향을 미치는 요인은 무엇인지, 그리고 담배산업의 비정상성 인식이 어떤 효과를 갖는지를 살펴봄으로써 금연캠페인 전략으로서 담배산업 비정상화 전략의 국내 적용 가능성을 진단해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 및 수도권 지역에 거주하는 15세 이상의 청소년 및 성인 남녀를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과에 의하면, 먼저 담배산업의 비정상성에 대한 인식과 관련하여, 응답자들은 담배회사의 비윤리적·기만적 행위에 대한 비판적 인식이 그리 높지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로, 담배산업 비정상성 인식에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지를 살펴본 결과, 흡연에 대한 신체적 신념과 사회적 신념, 흡연에 대한 반감 그리고 흡연량이 담배산업 비정상성 인식에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 담배산업의 비정상성 인식 효과와 관련하여, 담배산업의 비정상성 인식은 담배산업에 대한 반감과 담배규제 인식에는 유의미한 영향을 미쳤으나 흡연의사에는 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 담배산업 비정상화 전략이 국내에도 효과적으로 활용될 수 있다는 것을 확인시켜줌으로써 향후 국내 금연캠페인의 새로운 방향을 제시해준다고 할 것이다.

An Exploratory Study on the Applicability of Tobacco Industry Denormalization as an Anti-Tobacco Campaign Strategy : Focusing on Antecedents and Outcomes of Tobacco Industry Denormalization Perception
The purpose of this study is to diagnose the applicability of Tobacco Industry Denormalization(TID) as an anti-tobacco campaign strategy by examining Korean public's perception of TID, factors affecting TID perception, and effect of TID perception. The findings showed that respondents' TID perception was not so high, indicating that korean public was not so much critical of tobacco industry's unethical and manipulative business practices. Furthermore, physical and social belief of smoking, antipathy of smoking, and degree of smoking were the factors affecting TID perception. Finally, TID perception had significant influence on the antipathy of tobacco industry and the perception of tobacco regulation, not smoking intention. These findings suggest a new direction for anti-smoking campaign by ascertaining that TID strategy is effectively applicable in Korea.
