심미적 브랜드(Aesthetic Brand)란 무엇인가? : 심미적 브랜드의 개념화와 척도 개발
경영학과 마케팅 분야에서 심미적 마케팅 실행방안에 대한 연구는 활발하게 이루어져 왔었지만 브랜드로부터 유발되는 심미적 체험에 대한 실증검증은 부족했다. 본 연구는 기존 연구에서 주목받지 못 했던 심미적 브랜드를 개념화하고 심미적 브랜드를 구성하는 구성개념과 이를 측정하기 위한 측정항목을 개발하는 것이 목적이다. 기존 연구에 근거하여 심미적 브랜드를 정의하고 심미적 브랜드 를 표현하기 위한 요소들을 도출하여 심미적 브랜드를 개념화하고자 했다. 본 연구의 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저 연구1에서는 심미적 브랜드의 구성개념 도출과 측정문항을 도출하였다. 연구결과 심미적 브랜드는 브랜드 모티프, 브랜드 매력성, 브랜드 현저성, 그리고 브랜드 일관성으로 구성되었음 을 밝혔다. 연구2에서는 연구1에서 도출된 심미적 브랜드의 구성개념의 판별타당성을 확보하기 위하여 브랜드 애착, 브랜드 태도와의 판별타당도 검증이 이루어졌다. 연구결과 심미적 반응으로 간주된 심미적 브랜드는 소비자와 브랜드의 정서적 유대관계인 브랜드 애착과 다른 구성개념이며, 전반적인 브랜드 평가인 브랜드 태도와도 구분된 개념임을 밝힐 수 있었다. 마지막으로 연구3에서는 심미적 브랜드의 예측 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 심미적 브랜드-지각된 품질-구매의도 간의 인과관 계를 검증하였다. 연구결과 심미적 브랜드는 지각된 품질에 매개하여 구매의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과에 근거하여 심미적 브랜드의 향후 연구에 대해 제안하였다.

What is Aesthetic Brand? : Measuring the Sensory Responses Evoked by Brand Identity
Creating aesthetic experience is a important branding issue in current marketing environment. Aesthetic Brand refers to the brand its sensory responses are evoked by brand identity. This research uses aesthetic theory to build the theoretical groundwork for brand aesthetic and reports three studies conducted to measure and validate. The empirical results can be summarized as follows. Study 1 constructs a brand aesthetic scale that includes four dimensions: brand motif, brand attractiveness, brand consistency, and brand salience. Study 2 shows that the scale is reliable and valid, and distinct from other brand measures, such as brand attitude and brand attachment. Study 3 demonstrates brand aesthetic affects purchase intention directly and indirectly through perceived quality. Finally, based on the findings of this study, theoretical contribution and managerial implication are discussed.
